🇨🇳 #China: Footage reportedly shows the PLA experimenting with “cope cage” protection on unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) used for frontline logistics and supply transport, including water and other essential supplies.
According to a Chinese defence blog aligned with PLA analysis, Chinese military observers have studied the war in Ukraine, particularly the growing dominance of FPV drones over battlefield logistics. The report notes that the traditional way of moving supplies under the cover of darkness is becoming obsolete, as thermal-equipped drones now allow both sides to detect and strike targets even at night.
The report further describes the emergence of large “kill zones” behind the front line, where conventional resupply vehicles and personnel are highly vulnerable to drone attacks.
As a result, the PLA is reportedly exploring unmanned transport systems fitted with cage armor to improve survivability against FPV strikes.

One of those killed was reportedly a senior cartel figure and lieutenant known by the alias “El Payín.” Initial reports from Mexican media claimed the blast was caused by a car bomb, though later reporting attributed the explosion to a possible mechanical failure.
However, other sources cited by CNN alleged that the attack may have been carried out by the CIA’s "Ground Branch" division as part of a covert campaign against Mexican cartels. 🇮🇪 #Ireland - 🇮🇱 #Israel: Newly released internal documents reveal that the Irish government approved approximately €20 million worth of “dual-use” exports to the IDF and Israel’s Ministry of Defence in 2024, during the height of the war in Gaza.
The approved exports included technology and equipment with both civilian and military applications. The documents reportedly show that Irish authorities later on reversed course next year in 2025, citing concerns over human rights, regional stability, and the risk that the exported technology could be diverted for military use.
The revelations have triggered political backlash in Ireland, with opposition figures accusing the government of contradicting its public stance on Gaza.
