Russian Telegram channels report that a man delivered a package to his front porch containing an explosive device. Initial reports suggest he was unharmed. Pinchuk was a central figure in establishing Russian control over Crimea and Donbas.

🇱🇧 #Lebanon - 🇮🇱 #Israel: The IDF has continued shelling the city of Tyre for the past several hours. Israeli media also reports that since 10 PM yesterday, the military has carried out airstrikes and other operations across more than 12 municipalities in southern Lebanon, including Souwaneh, Touline, Choukin, Shaqra, Haboush, Bint Jbeil, Burj Qalaway, Yatar, and Ansar. Meanwhile, Israeli forces have reportedly captured and occupied the 900-year-old Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon. The site, which had been under Hezbollah control since 2003, is considered one of the few medieval fortifications that still retains military significance in modern warfare due to its strategic location. Although UNESCO granted the castle enhanced protection status during the 2024 Lebanon War, the site was nevertheless damaged by Israeli strikes. Footage released today appears to show Israeli forces around the remains of the fortress, while smoke can be seen rising after the IDF shelled the castle.

🇺🇸 #US: FBI agents shot and killed a bank robbery suspect on May 28th in Chicago’s West Garfield Park after boxing in a vehicle linked to a violent bank robbery in the Lawndale area. Agents deployed flashbangs during the operation before the suspect allegedly opened fire from the vehicle. FBI agents returned fire, killing the suspect at the scene. The FBI confirmed the incident is "under investigation". (via abc7chicago)

🇨🇭 #Switzerland: Three people were reportedly stabbed moments ago at a train station in Winterthur, near Zurich, after a man allegedly attacked several passersby with a knife. Police later arrested the suspect, identified by local media as a 31-year-old Swiss man. According to Swiss newspaper Blick, eyewitnesses stated that the attacker shouted “Allahu Akbar” during the incident. Video obtained by the outlet reportedly shows a man running out of the station hall while yelling the phrase. (via Blick)
