Interviewed for a job im really excited about today. It’s still in fiat land, but seems like it would be a massive upgrade. The guys I interviewed with are cryptography nerds and taught me a few things too. If I worked with them, I could go deep on that subject. Which could turn into a nice transition point into freedom tech in the future. Now, I’m just doing the worst part where I wait to hear what’s next 😭

I am using Alby Hub as my lightning node/wallet via NWC with Primal. I've been seeing zaps getting sent when I don't recall zapping anyone. How can I use the preimage or hash that my Alby Hub provides as metadata for the zap to determine what note was being zapped? I'm wondering if there's just a massive delay in the Primal iOS app. #asknostr

In all honesty, I was an AI hater. But the more I think about it, the more I think of it as a sort speculative attack on “fiat”, when used to build freedom tech. The machine wants to use AI to enslave all of us. But, if we’re successful in using it to build freedom based alternatives, we win in the end. I still don’t like execs and tech bros constantly threatening my livelihood with their speculation that it will take all the jobs, but I need 5 more solid years of work and I’m out of the fiat world forever.

This podcast has absolutely blown my mind. A big part of Catherine's thesis is that the state continues to have control because American's won't let go of the benefits of Central Banking and getting paid off by politicians. We need to instill the right values and virtues in our children in order to completely put this to a stop. Stop expecting hand outs and easy living. Lean into responsibility, not run away from it.
