Demonic Habits.

I’m planning to build a cluster of 3 raspberry pi 4s as a project soon. Debating on what I want the platform to be like. I’m tempted to use Kubernetes, but the initial implementation will use just a hard wired HDD, which I hear is not super straightforward on kubes. The goal is to have a solid platform for running self hosted software like Traefik, Immich, backups, etc. I’ll have plex and a local LLM on another machine, which is why I want traefik. What setups have yall had success with? #selfhost

My 8 month old daughter is the cutest baby ever. BUT.. she’s picked up this habit of screaming about everything. Happy, sad, needs something, or just boredom and she’s screaming. We literally can’t eat a meal without being screamed at. Anyone ever deal with this? Trying to find ideas to stop it. Talking obviously doesn’t work. We try reducing stimulus, which sometimes helps but other times playing some music helps. It’s driving me crazy! 😅

I really loathe the idea of “{example tech} is inevitable, we need to prepare for it”. No tech is inevitable. There are so many possible ways things go wrong and a given tech just turns out to be a dead end. The only thing that is truly inevitable is people using the word inevitable to fear monger.
