One thing that I find interesting in this day of unlimited media - everyone is super fast to assign a narrative to why markets are going up or down.
And often times, they’re completely different root causes where they can’t all be true. It’s basically becoming impossible to discern what’s happening.

So many on nostr have shiny object syndrome. It’s wild to see.
I’m starting to think the future of social media is not permissionless, but explicitly permissioned, but by small groups of people highly decentralized.
I don’t want to talk to your damn agents. If I want to talk to AI, I’ll just go straight to it.
I can see a service where people provision their own social network that is explicitly invite only. Especially for families.
You could do this with nostr and a self hosted relay today, too.
I think most on HN are inherently anti Musk because of politics, but even with bias considered, this is a super interesting thread to read.
SpaceX/xAI is obviously financial engineering, but in my very limited brain capacity, I can see a case for AI compute in space 😅

Maybe I’m retarded, but I don’t see the value in agent to agent payments? What does one agent offer that the other agent can’t do themselves?
The only thing I see is acting as a data gateway. But they’re so willing to hand over data 😅 and in that use case, why not just an API that can’t be easily fooled?
