image Interesting. I don't think that if I were one of the richest people in the world I would worry about my wealth breaking society. I would probably try to rule the world, so that I can fix it 😄
> "Two weeks ago in Minneapolis, Susan Tincher was arrested for following ICE agents and persistently videotaping them. She was shoved to the snow on her belly and handcuffed behind her back. At an ICE detention facility, her clothes and her wedding ring were removed from her — the latter by a bolt cutter. After five hours of confinement, an ICE supervisor decided to release her. ICE agents returned her destroyed wedding ring but not her clothes, which they told a federal judge had been lost." The US #GovtIsTheProblem
## Board of Piece ## These two notes remind me of how that when we were kids playing Monopoly™ my siblings and I would sometimes do what we called "blockbuster deals" where several parties exchanged with each other at the same time to get the properties they wanted and it massively changed the game. Perhaps this can happen with Trump's "Board of Peace" on a global scale. The Russia-Ukraine war can end and Russia gets a piece of Ukraine. Israel and the US get Gaza. The U.S. gets Greenland. Perhaps China's Xi can jump in and negotiate to get Taiwan without a fight. Other countries could jump in to get what they want. It would certainly be preferable to WW3. I'm not saying it's right, but in our still primitive age of States people still think they have to get a piece of the board, regardless of what the people living there want... > "In 1989, George H.W. Bush’s military invaded Panama, for the purpose of overthrowing one time U.S. asset Manuel Noriega, wanted for racketeering and drug trafficking. Any Venezuelans reading this may notice a familiar theme. The Pentagon estimated that 516 Panamanians, including over 200 civilians, were killed during the ludicrously named Operation Just Cause.
