> "...the political left is so obsessed with destroying #Christianity that they continue to repeat the false narrative that #Christmas is a “pagan holiday” and that all the traditions are stolen and repurposed. This claim is debunked every year and yet every year they keep trying to bring it back."
> "The biggest humiliation of all: it now seems clear that Joe Biden, who only ever wanted to be president, was never running the world. He was never the actual American president. There will forever be an asterisk next to his name. > >"So, we ask again: Just who *has* been running the country for the past four years? As that live TV debate proved beyond a doubt, it sure as hell hasn't been Joe."
> Whenever a woman commits adultery with a man of a caste inferior to her husband’s she shall be torn to pieces by dogs, and in some public place. –The Mahabharata, XII, c. 200 B.C. --- JESUS: > “The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her.” Then he stooped down again and continued writing on the ground. When they heard this, they left one by one, starting with the older men. Only he was left, with the woman in the center. When Jesus stood up, he said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?”  “No one, Lord,” she answered. “Neither do I condemn you,” said Jesus. “Go, and from now on do not sin anymore.” –The Holy Bible, John 8:7–11 --- ALSO JESUS: > Whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. –The Holy Bible, Hebrews 13:4
> A native of Curubis [modern Korba, Tunisia], who had been an actor, was made whole in his baptism, not only from paralysis, but also from a deformity ot his privy parts; and came up from the fountain of regeneration free of both troubles. –Augustine, *The City of God,* xxii (427)
This was a good episode, in my opinion. On @Fountain you can find comments decrying the doom & gloom and black-pillism of it all, but as this analysis of empires throughout history shows, the U.S. empire is about to run it's course, since empires historically generally last about 250 years. That means the U.S. is likely in the decadence and probably even decline phases of empire now, which is why things suck and are likely to get worse... Doug Casey and Matt Smith discussed a brief writing from 1976 called 'The Fate of Empires and Search for Survival' by Sir John Glubb. It was a good read, and as one who studied political science and history in college, I'm surprised I hadn't heard or read about this guy and these ideas before. Here's a link to the document, but the podcast also gives a good discussion of its main points. https://people.uncw.edu/kozloffm/glubb.pdf https://fountain.fm/episode/61TPb5xRK0PIG9zSEh4D
