I thought to myself the other day, Americans love football so much, perhaps we should dispense with elections and just have the politics decided by football matches. And whoever gets to be president could be decided by the Super Bowl. You'd have the Democrat team versus the Republican team, blue versus red. You could potentially save billions of dollars on campaigns. Of course, the other parties should have a shot at playing as well.
