I do not recognize anyone’s right to one minute of my life. Nor to any part of my energy. Nor to any achievement of mine. No matter who makes the claim, how large their number or how great their need. My public bookmarks are like a pseudo blog, check them out to see what I have to say. I don't post every day, think of me as a high SNR oracle, when I show up in your feed it's probably going to be interesting. I do private contracting for personal server setups and automation scripts. Feel free to contact and inquire about that if you need something put together. xmpp and email: mister_monster@disroot.org pgp fingerprint: 16b1f268d3a01afdf4194b87868bc00fa8740dac 09F911029D74E35BD84156C5635688C0

> Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them. -- Frank Herbert, Dune We have been doing this for a while. It started with deferring to authorities, then googling to win arguments with friends. Then, referring to an algorithm to keep the dopamine flowing. Now, people are letting machines imagine for them. This will continue, there will be a slave caste again in the future, and most of those living that way will be that way because their ancestors self selected into it by offloading their thinking to external entities. All things in the human world emerge from the imagination of men. Directing the attention of others is the most powerful skill of all, it is nothing new and won't change any time soon. Be mindful and deliberate where you direct your attention, use your imagination to create things. You can just construct your world (I am stealing that quote @OFFGRID ), you are a being of light that is capable of bending reality to your will, don't let the sorcerer class decide the future of your world and your children's world. Teach them to do that for themselves and leas BT example.
