I just realized that lots of us were doing white face or brown face or yellow face or red face in plays, passions, nativities, or skits, for decades and nobody noticed or cared because everyone knew that theater isn't real and that is why there are costumes.

I don't know how assets can even be owned, when no one has jobs. If we all get AI-ABI, we'd all have the same income. Where does the money to purchase assets then come from? Savings? So we make the current wealth disparities permanent? Or do assets just become worthless as a savings vehicle and we just divvy them up amongst the populace by who is most favored by the government? Hubby lost a crazy amount of weight, while I was in the States, so he's back to looking and acting like James Bond and I am constantly uneasy, intimidated, and weirdly fascinated. I had forgotten how accurate my impression of a terrified bunny is, and how hard it is to stare at him, admiringly, without getting caught and facing that hawk-like, glittering, turquoise stare. So, what else is new?
