This show is mostly center-right Manosphere infotainment, but I just heard them mention something I noticed when moving to Europe:
That the female-demand equivalent of "he needs to be at least 6 feet tall" in Europe is "he needs to be at least 180 cm tall." Which is a bit less than 5'11". Which shows how arbitrary those numbers are, as women are just picking nice, round numbers. And men usually fudge their reported height, anyway, as they know that women can't really tell how tall they are.
Also, in revealed choices, male facial beauty is by far the most coveted thing, even though it's something women hardly ever mention when describing their dream man.

π΅Die Gedanken sind frei.
I'm okay with being kind of a badass.
It's so weird that there's a global bond crisis underway and it's just going completely uncommented and unreported.

View quoted note βElectric vehicles are primarily a political topic in the USA. Few people are really considering them from a technological or economic standpoint.
The AfD is on the wrong side of history, with their obsession with combustion engines. Even the German automobile industry doesn't want to go back to focusing on combustion engines, as the entire world is electrifying, including the German market.
We want Teslas, not Trabbies.
It's funny to me how wanting to regulate the AI industry is considered government overreach and centralization of power when the US, Chinese, and EU governments (among others) have been actively funding it, arranging the funding for it, changing laws to accomodate and promote it, and directing the development and implementation of it, the whole time.
There is, until now, absolutely no explanation for why any private person should be personally benefitting from the success of these projects, since none of the projects would be viable without everyone tacitly acknowledging that governments are underwriting their debt.
These have always been seen primarily as national security issues, not private science projects. That's why it's not treated as an asset bubble, even though these companies have no path to profitability: everyone knows their governments won't let them fail. Investing in AI is just another form of government asset, but with higher returns. Like investing in defense production.
This is not *Pets.com Part 2*, this is RheinMetall.
Just buy the fucking dip.

That's it. I've had enough.

I don't know why these videos of women screaming hysterically and ranting nonsense are so popular, but I am assuming it's some TikTok algo gone wild.
The smart people used to be right-wing. Those were good times.
Your PoW is too small. Difficulty size matters. Bigger is better.
Trump's Clarity law is ded and Germany will begin taxing crypto like shares, rather than like gold. Borrowing costs are up and gold and real estate is down.
Looks like the boom is over.

Paying almost exactly β¬1000/year for electricity for a family of 4-6 adults (depending upon who is currently living with us).
Solar panels are barely worth it, at that rate, but definitely worth it if we add air conditioning and an e-auto. π€
I put my Brainstorm score quite high and now I am finding some of my favorite npubs below the fold and feel like I need to actually finally give them a follow instead of just stumbling over their stuff in the threads.
So, to my new follows:
Congratulations on your new, higher Brainstorm score. π«‘

I am not going to babysit my cash all day to see if it gets hacked or rugged. Fuck that noise, man. And I'm sick of the mantra that it's totally okay to keep small bits of money in that wallet but not more than that cuz it might disappear. #wearesoearly. Small amounts of money _also_ shouldn't disappear.
I am not going to put more of my money someplace that it is likely to disappear from. That is why I am trying to get out of the banking system, ffs. This is supposed to be the place I can put it, that it _won't_ disappear from!
I've been at the forefront of the Lightning, Cashu, Nutzap, whatthefuckevah experiments for 4 years, and I am tired, boss.
