There I was sitting in my Italian suit, thinking about everything we had gone through this year. The budget cutbacks, the sharing of a house with in-laws, the financial side of things. Spending thousands on kitchen equipment plumbers, gasfitters and builders. Panicking thinking my entire savings could be wiped out. But is at there smoking a cigar and drinking cognac the night before we were due to open and I felt deep satisfaction and almost joy.
