GM Day 17 today. I’ve done my journaling we will go to see the launch of the restaurant by the new owners. We sold the restaurant to my wife’s friend so hopefully they will still make great Tahi food for the people of our tiny town. Later in the day I hope to rehearse for the play. I’ve already placed my order for Bitcoin mining with Mining Rigs Rentals. I find that with all this free time, there is an inner urge to make the most of it, but to also allow my instincts and intuition to guide me – to get out of the way so to speak. It will be interesting to see how this balances out over the coming months. image #gm #xbt #bitcoin #nostr
I got this coffee cup from my work colleagues. I was voted coffeeaholic. I wanted to be voted best dressed but that went to another guy. The elephant pot plant represents Thailand where I once lived. The plant has died now. I bought this Mercedes when I sold my house. I feel it's important to celebrate any windfalls of cash. If you make money you shouldn't spend all of it. I also bought the outdoor setting. I had dreamed of sitting out here in spring when the weather warmed up but it's cold and windy even though it's sunny. I'm present moment centered and none of this really bothers me. Nothing works out exactly the way you plan but that's okay too. image
GM. Day 16 of my experiment in financial freedom. Make today count. BTC is down. XBT is down. But we press on. image #xbt #gm #bitcoin
GM. I'm back in the city for the weekend. I had to get a McDonald’s breakfast of course. When I was a kid a McDonald's outing was always a special occasion and I guess it's never changed. The burger is overcooked, they didn't bring the dine in tray but put my order on the bag and the coffee is too hot. But I don't mind too much. There's nowhere I need to go nothing I need to do. God provides. #gm #nostr #bitcoin image
It’s now day 6 or seven I can’t remember exactly. Though it seems to be some 6 or 7 days - no meme intended - I have been living at home and not going to work. I have decided to pursue a path to financial independence and see how far I get. Whilst I don’t have as much money as I would like I feel that the universe is directing me in this direction. Since I’ve left work amazing things have happened. I found new meaning and excitement and enthusiasm in doing XBT Bitcoin mining every day technically even though it’s an on paper return it hasn’t been final, I’ve already made more money in XBT than I made in dollar cost averaging in Bitcoin over the last two YEARS, which is kind of sad even though admittedly we were in the cycle low. Bitcoin returns have been pretty pathetic and all the ******** these influencers say is just that. It’s 11:00 I can just sit at home and drink my coffee and no one is bothering me. I don’t have to go to work. I notice they’ve just advertised my old job and I could probably walk into that tomorrow if I wanted and get a good salary but I want to allow myself the space follow what I believe the universe is calling me to do I think what I’ve learned in this past six to seven days he's just to follow the universe's calling and just to allow things to expand and open up. The restaurant sale looks like it will be going ahead so that’ll be another massive injection of cash which I hadn’t really budgeted for or expected or even planned for when I made my decision to leave my job. So what but now I have no impetus return even though I don’t have enough money to sustain this level of lifestyle for 10 years or more certainly can do it for at least six months. #gm #bitcoin #xbt image
GM. financial freedom day one. Let's see how many days I can make it last #xbt #bitcoin #gm
Writing out my lines in full for the play. Apparently this helps with line memorisation. image
GM ☀️ It's 11am and I'm eating pasta for breakfast on my back verandah. The sun is shining, it's warm, and I'm relaxed. I can see my two paid-off cars, and I'm enjoying breakfast at the table I bought when I sold my investment. Tomorrow is Monday, but I don't have to go to work. Enjoying being free. #gm #nostr #bitcoin image
GN. God is good. I own my dream cars, I can drink wine and cheese every day and I don't have to go to work on Monday. I don't necessarily have fancy cars but I have the cars I want fully paid off and some degree of financial independence. Bitcoin is also getting back to its roots so the world of money is healing. #bitcoin #nostr #gn image
GM. Getting close to an end of an era. We put our heart and soul into this business but the chef had enough. As we live in a small town there's no way to replace him. So we're selling up this week hopefully. On to some new ventures or to rest for a while. #gm image
We're selling our restaurant in a few days so it's the end of an era. It was my first time running a venture like this. Great experience but scary and frustrating at times. image
At the doctor's today. It's really depressing here with the sick people and the horrible decor. I've been feeling run down from working two jobs. Hopefully I can just rest and recover but I'm getting a checkup just in case.
GM. It's such a nice feeling to sit in my own restaurant for breakfast. We don't serve breakfast here but I get my coffee from a local supplier and a fresh toasted foccacia. It's brutally cold outside like always but the heaters work well in here keeping me toasty warm. #gm image
Sales are slow tonight but decent enough to keep us profitable. I'm still in shock from the bitcoin pricey hike. Given I'm planning to DCA in September, I sold the price hike and will buy in again when it drops. #bitcoin #gn #sats #thailand image
Reading Storm of Steel, an eyewitness German account of world war 1 while waiting for customers to arrive. #business #gn image
GM learning my lines while the technician is installing the internet. It's a grey day but no rain yet. #gm image
Wow so much has happened this year. It was only a few months ago since we were in Thailand. Now it's cold weather and struggles on all sides. How quickly things change. image
Some days there is only so much you can do. It's better to just put your feet up and look at the fire. image
GM. I live in a small town but because it is on the main highway, quite a lot of people travel through here. That was one reason why we started this restaurant. There is a good mix of locals and tourists. We are coming up to peak season in our first year in business so I'm curious to see how we go. For now it's winter and the town is still dead quiet. image
