The mass adoption of bitcoin from the world’s hard workers is what matters. When every Bangladeshi shipyard worker, every Brazilian farm worker, every Nigerian oil field worker, every Philippine fisherman starts saving 100 sats a paycheck, it won’t matter what Blackcock thinks of Bitcoin. The idea that poor people can’t save long term is simply wrong. It’s just never been worth saving tiny amounts of depreciation fiat and investments required more than tiny amounts. Bitcoin changes this. When savings increase in purchasing power over time, it’s all of sudden worth trying to save even a couple days wages and push it into the long term future.

Markets are error correcting networks. They punish misallocation of capital. A whole bunch of people are panicking because they misallocated to leveraged products. If that’s not you, don’t panic along with them. Stay calm and test your thesis. If your thesis holds, acquire more.
