Eight hours later and the funds still aren't back in my on-chain wallet.
Does Alby require you to "manually trigger the sweep?"
"If Nothing Happens
If your wallet hasn't automatically swept the funds after several confirmations:
Some wallets require you to manually trigger the sweep (check settings or support docs)
Contact your LSP's support - they may need to provide guidance specific to their implementation
Ensure your wallet is online and synced to detect and claim the output
The 2-week warning in the LSP's message is the worst-case scenario if you had force closed, but that shouldn't apply here."

What's the minimum number of lightning channels for a consumer node?
I had two on Alby Hub. One got closed but zaps still not working. I guess the other one was just for looks.
Starting to think Alby isn't worth the subscription.

Somebody tell Bezos more people would select the no-rush shipping option if instead of credit toward a crappy digital product you don't want, Amazon rewarded you in sats.
Tapped a little too close to the upper left corner and it kicked me out of the Meshtastic app back to the app store. WTF
iOS has changed so much since my last one in 2013 it gives me a mini panic attack whenever my wife hands me hers.
Meshtastic device suggestion: a physical switch, key combo, or long-press that allows you to lock and unlock the buttons to prevent accidental presses.
Also, if you're selling nodes that have the USB charging port on the end of the device opposite the antenna connector (Meshnology Heltec V3), some sort of 90 degree elbow antenna adapter might be a nice accessory to add to the kit, assuming it's necessary to keep the node's antenna vertical during charging.
Based on nothing more than the horror stories I've heard about the software used by government employees at all levels, I'm comfortable predicting that whatever A.I. solution gets implemented by a local, state or federal agency, it's gonna take a non-negligible number of humans to fix all of the problems it will cause.
"Why do we clean our weapons so often, Drill Sergeant?"
"Because they were made by the lowest bidder, rock head!" 🤣

If you bought at the 2013 ATH and held all the way through 2014 and 2015, respect 🫡

Bitcoin is dead but nobody's shutting off their miners?

My kid just asked if she should buy more. I was like "Hell yes!"
"But I just bought a shit load! What if it drops more?"
"Then don't buy."
"But it's never been this low since I first started buying."
"Then buy more."
"Do you think it's gonna go lower?"

Trying to figure out what the heck kind of connector is on this Meshtastic when I find this gem:
"Wi-Fi equipment manufacturers have widely used RP-SMA connectors to comply with specific national regulations, such as those from the FCC, which are designed to prevent consumers from connecting antennas that provide additional gain and therefore breach Part 15 compliance. However, by 2000, the FCC regarded the connectors as readily available, though delaying its ruling indefinitely. As of 2018, leading manufacturers such as Netgear and Linksys are still using RP-SMA connectors on their Wi-Fi equipment."
The radio industry definitely doesn't have enough antenna connector types. We should try to double it to say, 300 million 🤡

Who's the bigger liar, a politician or the WiFi signal strength icon on a phone?
As long as my paycheck is a fixed quantity of fiat, not sure it makes much sense to buy goods or services priced in a fixed quantity of sats.
Sure, the long game is get paid a fixed quantity of sats but until you reach that goal, you're just paying an ever increasing price for the same good or service.
I thought "everything" is supposed to fall in Bitcoin terms, not just the purchasing power of my paycheck.
