Strangers in between Ever since I was young, I can remember right before I fell asleep seeing little tiny white blobs in the darkness behind my eyelids. I never really paid any attention to them. Didn't think much of them until a few years ago when I started focusing on one for a little bit. It turned into what was a face. Not the white blob but the blackness in front of it. The white blob represented the negative space. I see them all the time now. They last for about a minute before I fall asleep. Sometimes they'll be two or three. They never show up together only individually. I don't recognise any of them. They're not people I've ever seen or interacted with. They show emotions and some react to me looking at them. They're not always happy or sad. They're not always human looking. I can see them sometimes from the shoulders up noticing that they wear different clothing, sometimes hats, Jewelry, and even make up. They speak I can see their mouths moving but I never hear any sounds. Some of them don't seem to like me being there. None of them like when I reach out to them. But they just seem to go about their business and ignore the fact that I'm looking at them. They're of all different ages and don't seem to have any particular rhyme or reason to why they're there. Once in a while, I can catch images in the background of where they are. All different types of terrain and cities. Some places I don't even recognise. I've had what I considered to be a normal amount of déjà rěvé. I seen shadow people late at night like most people have. In the waking hours, I've experienced Freundlicher Geist. But none of these seem to be an explanation for these faces that don't exist in this world or the dream state. I wonder who these strangers are that exist in between our reality and the dream world. Who are they?? #occultstr
