GM - pic of my coffee just because #cheers Mid-week check-in—anyone else feeling that overwhelmed feeling creeping in? For me, it usually hits on Mondays, but honestly, it can happen any day when there’s a lot on my plate. Work, kids’ schedules, a million things to do… and I start thinking I won’t get it all done. But then? I always do. So why do I still feel like this? I think a lot of us deal with this kind of anxiety for different reasons. 1. How you grew up. Were you raised in an environment where everything had to be done now? Did that urgency create stress or make you feel like you always had to be on top of things? I’ve always been the type who wants to finish tasks right away so I don’t have to worry about them later. And I’m still like that. But I have to remind myself that it’s okay if I don’t finish something the exact day I planned—I do have time. For example, as a social media manager, I always get my clients’ content to them way ahead of schedule. But in my head, I have my own internal deadlines and a set order for who I work on first. And every week, I stress about it… until I remind myself, I got this. I always do. So why am I stressing? 2. Past experiences. Sometimes something from your past—whether it’s a specific event, pressure from a past job, or just life in general—wires you to feel this way. 3. The fear of falling behind. When there’s always more to do, it can feel like if you don’t stay ahead, you’ll never catch up. Even when you’re on top of things, that little voice in your head tells you you’re not. Does this happen to you? What do you think causes it? Let’s talk. ⬇️ #nostr #asknostr #gm #plebchain #proofofsteak #stress #anxiety #socialmediamanager #wfhmom #momlife #carnivore image
GM Not gonna lie—today is one of those Mondays. You know the kind… where the to-do list is staring me down, but my brain is still waking up. Holding my cute Valentine mug, I had a thought: Discipline > Motivation. My brain today: "Today I don't feel like doing anything… I just wanna lay in my bed." - Bruno Mars 🎵 But here’s the thing—waiting for motivation is a losing game. The people who get things done? They do it even when they don’t feel like it. Same with diet, health, and figuring out what works for you. It’s not about waiting to “feel motivated” to eat better or move your body. It’s about building systems that carry you through even on the Mondays when you don’t want to. So yeah, I may not feel like it today… but I’m gonna do it anyway. “Don’t believe me, just watch” 🎶 How about you? What’s your Monday mindset like? Let’s hear it. 👇 #nostr #gm #plebchain #asknostr #monday #carnivore #animalbased #mindset #proofofsteak #brunomars #musiclyrics
I already see it every time I’m on social media . People just accept whatever “science” says without questioning it. Why is it so wrong to question the science nowadays? So, going carnivore is bad just because there isn’t enough data? That’s what they want to believe. It’s a constant battle. But at the end of the day, I remind myself that I didn’t choose this for anyone else—it’s about how I feel. After eight years of depression, I finally found relief, among other things. That’s what I focus on when social media starts to feel like too much. View quoted note →
I came to return a pair of shoes, and the store is closed. Before you ask… yes, I checked online. It says they open at 10 AM. I got here at 10:30 AM. So I called, thinking, maybe the online directory is wrong. NOPE! They’re supposed to open at 10! So I walk a few stores down to their sister store and ask them. They look at me like I just uncovered a deep family secret, immediately grab their phones, and call—I’m assuming—a manager. Turns out, shifts changed, and there was a communication issue. So now I’m just sitting outside the store… with NO COFFEE because I left it in the car, thinking this would be quick. And now people are starting to gather, also waiting, and I just want to cry because I need my coffee. But hey, at least I’m not alone in this adventure. Happy Friday!! Hope your day is filled with caffeine and fewer surprises! #GM #coffee #nostr #friday image
GM My morning routine consists of my kids. I’m in that stage of life right now where I have little ones; most people I know are in a different stage, dealing with teenagers and kids going to college. That could have been me; my husband and I have been together long enough, but we started having our family a little later in life. Sometimes, honestly, I look at my kids and I can’t believe they are mine. I’m a mom of boys… this is my life, the chaos mixed with the love and these morning routines that I’m grateful for. I get to work from home, and my husband is flexible with owning his own business. I can’t see myself having to go into a corporate office and being chained down to a desk for 9 hours a day to rush home to my kids to make dinner and go to bed. And sure, working from home has its challenges—yesterday, for example, the baby was crying, the kids weren’t listening and doing their homework, and I was trying to finish some work. But I’d rather have the chaos and my morning routine that sometimes feels like that movie Groundhog Day lol than have to go into an office and not be able to do all the things I’m able to do now. So today, let’s embrace the chaos, cherish our routines, and be grateful for another day of life. Life is short; work on the things you love and find joy in the little moments. In today’s episode, we dive into the struggle of sticking to a routine and how to get back on track. I share personal insights into how I’ve fallen off my morning routine and the tips I’m using to rebuild it—starting with morning rituals, prioritizing tasks, and taking breaks. Life happens, and sometimes we all get off track, but it’s never too late to start again! Check out our je latest podcast here: #podcast #nostr #carnivore #dailyroutine
GM Today, I’ve been all over the place! I had to get some paperwork done for my husband’s business, then I started checking emails and replying to them. I really need to start working on social media content for my clients, but then I looked at the time and thought, “Maybe I should just record my podcast real quick and edit it later.” In between all this, I opened my Amazon app to order office supplies—probably about three times since yesterday—and I keep getting distracted by other things. So here’s the question: could this be ADHD, or am I just a mom of three with 100 tabs open in my brain? Remember how I mentioned I started working on creating today’s podcast? Well, I haven’t done it yet because I just remembered that I forgot to post my coffee pic from this morning with my husband. So, cheers to Tuesday and to anyone else struggling to focus on one thing at a time! ☕️✨ #asknostor #askadoctor #askdoctors #nostr #gm #plebchain #carnivore #coffee image
