#GM #Nostr Feeling good today—got some work done early. Am I done? NOPE! I decided to take a little bit of time to relax today—that’s the best part about working from home. Having the flexibility to cook real food instead of grabbing something processed on the go? Even better. Most people I know are rushing out the door in the morning, barely eating or settling for whatever’s quick. Meanwhile, I’m sitting down to eggs, bacon, and carnivore pancakes. Prioritizing health doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does take intention. And even if you do have to go into an office, eating healthy doesn’t have to be hard—you just have to make it a priority. #carnivore #carnivorediet #nutritionheals #meatbased #animalbased #poscast image

GM Monday – Time Change = Time to adjust! We didn’t get to sleep until past 1am — I don’t know what happened but we just couldn’t fall asleep, so of course I’m paying for it now 😅 and I’ll need all the #cafecito I know some people aren’t a fan of the time change—but I love it! Don’t get me wrong, the adjustment is rough, especially with kids. Waking up when it’s still dark outside? Yeah, that sucks. My brain just doesn’t get why I’m awake if the sun isn’t 😅. But here’s what I do love—the longer days. Somehow, it just makes life easier. The kids rush to finish schoolwork so they can play outside, we get more time in the sun (hello, vitamin D), and summer feels so close. For us, that means pool and beach days… which I’ll just be dreaming about today. #asknostr Do you love the time change, or would you rather it stay the same year-round? #timechange #springforward #nostr #gm #plebchain #coffeechain #monday #proofofsteak image

#GM Cafecito Time ☕️✨ Sipping mine outside today because it’s chilly and breezy—and let’s be real, that won’t last long. Summer is probably a week away. lol. Warning: I’m about to vent. 😅 Yesterday, I got another comment on one of my carnivore videos. This time from a vegan. And let me be clear—I have nothing against vegans. One of my good friends is plant-based. But I do have a problem when someone watches one of my posts and decides to tell me I’m doing it wrong—without knowing my story. I’ve tried keto. I’ve done portion control. I even did a gut protocol program that focused on less meat and more veggies. Nothing worked. It wasn’t until I tried carnivore that my depression of eight years lifted. My anxiety decreased. I had more clarity, energy, and less inflammation. No one has the right to judge someone else’s health decisions. I see hardcore carnivores making entire videos about how other people are “doing it wrong.” But here’s the thing—with me, my YouTube channel, and my socials, I share my journey. I give tips based on what I have learned and experienced. I respect that people have opinions. Healthy conversations are great. But when someone tells me I should do the total opposite of what has healed me—just because it worked for them—that’s where I draw the line. And my response? You do you. No one is stopping you from eating how you want. I’m not on your page telling you that you’re slowly killing yourself with plants. (And believe me, some doctors have said that—look up Dr. Anthony Chaffee.) What I am doing is sharing my experience. What worked for me. What others might want to consider trying. Every body is different—there’s no one-size-fits-all. I know most people pick a side and stay there, but I’ve always lived in the grey area. It took me two years of researching carnivore before I finally said, Why not? What’s the worst that could happen? That it doesn’t work, and I’m still depressed and sick all the time? Or—and listen carefully—OR… it actually allows my body to heal? And that’s exactly what happened. So comment what you want. Tell me I’m doing it wrong. Tell me I should be vegan. But here’s what you can’t take away from me: I found what works. I found what helped me escape years of depression, brain fog, and fatigue. I can finally breathe. I can finally be present with my family. I get that it’s hard to accept something when the world has been lying to us for decades—profiting off seed oils, sugar, and processed junk. I get it. I grew up on TV dinners and Little Debbie’s. But once you open your mind to the possibility that what you thought was healthy could actually be harming you—everything changes. And if you’re skeptical? Try it for yourself. See what happens. Because if this so-called “fad diet” is supposed to kill me… why is it doing the exact opposite? #asknostr #nostr #carnivore #carnivorediet #meatbased #animalbased #nutritionheals #coffeechain #plebchain #proofofsteak #livingfree image

Today got away from me again, so finally getting my first meal in of the day. (Photo below — just because) 😏 #carnivore Today I worked on my podcast, and it’s something people on any diet complain about — staying consistent! How? It’s so hard? We make it as hard as we want it to be. Life gets busy — trust me, I get it!! Mama of 3 here, working from home and all the chaos!! Yesterday, I looked at the time, and it was 6:30 pm and I hadn’t even made dinner yet! I wanted to just throw in the towel and order pizza! 🍕 Did I give in? Tune in tomorrow to find out what I did and these two simple tips for staying consistent! #carnivorediet #meatbased #animalbased #chaos #momofthree #wfhmom #plebchain #proofofsteak #fiatfood #nutritionheals #podcast #thekristincarrerapodcast image

GM #nostr Halfway through the week and it’s definitely been a busy couple of days! Between working from home, being a mom, and sticking to my carnivore routine, there’s a lot going on—but I’m making it work. Also, got a vegan commenting on my video about the carnivore diet—why do people care so much about what others eat? 🤷‍♀️ We all gotta do what works for us, right? #asknostr How’s everyone else doing this week? #workingfromhome #realmomlife #carnivorestrong #honestmoments #busylife #midweekvibes #keepingitreal #coffeechain #plebchain image

Weekends go way too fast when you have three kids and sports events! 😅 Here we are again, Monday! It’s been a nonstop, busy day of editing content for clients and recording my podcast episode. I heard this statement recently: Ground beef is healthier than steak! Tune in tomorrow to my podcast to hear my thoughts on this! The photo below? Some delicious slider burgers @tonycarrera grilled up this weekend—definitely one of my favorite go-to dinners! #carnivore #nostr #gm #burgers #proofofsteak #plebchain image

GM—first coffee, then discussions… This might be a controversial topic, but it’s how I feel— Do you think kids should get awards for everything they do? For example, schools hold quarterly awards ceremonies for grades, and some sports leagues hand out medals after every game, plus a trophy at the end of the season—even if the team didn’t win a single game. Personally, I think school awards should happen once at the end of the year, based on overall performance. When I was a kid, they just sent home a paper saying “Honor Roll” or whatever—there wasn’t a whole ceremony that required parents to miss work. And sports? Don’t even get me started. I don’t believe in medals and trophies if the team didn’t win—yes, even for little kids. They don’t even know what a medal or trophy is until you start handing them out. Cheer them on, support them, love on them! But they don’t need a participation trophy. Imagine if NFL players got a medal after every game or if every team got a Super Bowl ring. That’s not how it works at the professional level—so what exactly are we teaching our kids? I don’t usually rant here, but I thought this was a good topic to throw out there. Curious what you think! #coffeechain #gm #plebchain #pov #proofofsteak #healthyconversations #asknostr #nostr #parentingtalk #lifelessons #realtalk #criticalthinking #noparticipationtrophies #winningmindset #kidsandsports #schoolawards #hardworkpaysoff #earnit image

GM - pic of my coffee just because #cheers Mid-week check-in—anyone else feeling that overwhelmed feeling creeping in? For me, it usually hits on Mondays, but honestly, it can happen any day when there’s a lot on my plate. Work, kids’ schedules, a million things to do… and I start thinking I won’t get it all done. But then? I always do. So why do I still feel like this? I think a lot of us deal with this kind of anxiety for different reasons. 1. How you grew up. Were you raised in an environment where everything had to be done now? Did that urgency create stress or make you feel like you always had to be on top of things? I’ve always been the type who wants to finish tasks right away so I don’t have to worry about them later. And I’m still like that. But I have to remind myself that it’s okay if I don’t finish something the exact day I planned—I do have time. For example, as a social media manager, I always get my clients’ content to them way ahead of schedule. But in my head, I have my own internal deadlines and a set order for who I work on first. And every week, I stress about it… until I remind myself, I got this. I always do. So why am I stressing? 2. Past experiences. Sometimes something from your past—whether it’s a specific event, pressure from a past job, or just life in general—wires you to feel this way. 3. The fear of falling behind. When there’s always more to do, it can feel like if you don’t stay ahead, you’ll never catch up. Even when you’re on top of things, that little voice in your head tells you you’re not. Does this happen to you? What do you think causes it? Let’s talk. ⬇️ #nostr #asknostr #gm #plebchain #proofofsteak #stress #anxiety #socialmediamanager #wfhmom #momlife #carnivore image
