Mindlessly scrolling the internet, sipping on my coffee, wondering what the F is wrong with the world. Sometimes I wish we could go back to when there was no internet, when sitting and watching the top hits on MTV was exciting, reading a book for entertainment, getting some fresh air and sun, not worrying about all the bad in the world… maybe it’s naive or ignorant, but it was a simpler time. Now everyone on social media thinks they know it all, everyone feels the need to attack someone for something they don’t believe in, things shoved in front of us, and everything is just so negative!!
Take a deep breath… Close your eyes and remember a time when things were simpler… then I open my eyes and start mindlessly scrolling again…

Mom of 3 on a meat based healing journey.
Sharing faith, ADHD mom life, and simple food that actually works for our family.
Podcast, Bible, and real talk as I figure this out in real time.
I woke up today not wanting to parent… and I’m sharing this for the other parents who feel this way sometimes. 🫣 You’re not alone, and you don’t need to feel bad about it. Parenting is exhausting, and let’s be real—there are no days off!
So here I am, embracing the chaos at the doctor’s office with three kids. The wait feels like forever, and I’m just scrolling #nostr to see how everyone’s week is going. 🙃

If you’ve ever thought about trying a meat-based diet (or maybe you’ve already given it a shot), what held you back?
What questions do you still have?
I know there’s a lot of conflicting advice out there, but I also know how life-changing it can be to find what actually works for you.
Let’s make this a conversation. Drop your thoughts below—what should I cover in the next episode?

They say eat the rainbow, everything in moderation, and balance is key—but what if everything we were told about health was wrong? I used to believe it. I tried eating the rainbow. I tried so many different ways of eating, thinking I was doing it right. But instead of feeling better, my gut paid the price. My microscopic colitis would strongly disagree with those who swear by a balanced diet.
Yet, so many people are finding healing, reversing symptoms, and thriving—not with a balanced plate, but with a plate full of what we were designed to eat. So why isn’t this talked about more? Why are people so quick to dismiss it instead of asking why it works? Science is important, but real-life results shouldn’t be ignored. If people are healing, shouldn’t we at least be curious?

Carnivore Burnout – When you hit a wall with the carnivore diet and start feeling bored, unmotivated, or even grossed out by the idea of eating more meat.
I had this early into my carnivore journey, but most people get it midway or even a year in… and it’s NORMAL.
I know for me, I grew up eating different meals, and as I got older, I opened my palate to different foods from all over the world. I love them—I LOVE to eat! So eating just meat every single day got boring QUICK. I actually got nauseous thinking about it—it literally grossed me out! 😩
So how did I get through it?
I started switching it up. At first, I added in chicken, organ meats, and seafood—and it helped a LOT. Eventually, I started to crave red meat again. Now, after a year on carnivore, I’ve gotten more creative—like with my carnivore pizza. 🍕
It doesn’t have to be boring or just red meat all day, every day. Change it up. Keep it flexible.
Here’s the big takeaway for me: Flexibility is not failure. Our bodies and minds sometimes just need a little reset. The carnivore diet isn’t a competition—it’s about feeling great and nourishing your body. Listen to yourself, and adjust when you need to.

Quitting before you even start... it’s a thing! TRUST ME!
Let me tell you how many times I quit carnivore—probably about 100 times or more. 🤦♀️ Every single day I’d start off strong, and then as soon as it got tough, I’d tell myself: “I fu**en can’t do this. I’m done. It’s too hard.”
Because as humans, we naturally run when things get uncomfortable—it’s that fight-or-flight kicking in when stuff just doesn’t feel right. But wait...is it actually because it doesn’t feel right, or are we just scared to fail at something we haven’t even given a fair chance yet?
I’d remind myself of my why. I’d remember that winners are made by pushing through hard things. I’d remind myself that healing takes time, and I wasn’t ready to throw in the towel just because my results weren’t showing up fast enough—or because I kept comparing myself to random strangers on the internet who might be exaggerating, lying, or just healing faster because their body is their own, and that’s NOT me!
Think about how many times something worked perfectly for someone else but did the complete opposite for you. Like when caffeine wakes up all my friends, but I drink coffee purely for the taste and could literally nap right after. Or the time when I got my tonsils out and the codeine prescribed literally did nothing—AT ALL.
REMEMBER WHAT I ALWAYS SAY—EVERY BODY IS DIFFERENT; THERE IS NO ONE-SIZE-FITS-ALL!
Check out the ONE thing that finally pushed me to stop quitting Carnivore and actually stick with it— tap here ➡️

#GM nostr – I’m excited about today’s podcast episode: “Why Doctors Don’t Talk About Carnivore (And Why It’s So Important To Listen To Your Own Body).”
For years, I followed all the mainstream health advice—eat your veggies, get plenty of fiber, avoid red meat. But here’s the thing… no one ever actually asked me about my nutrition. It wasn’t even part of the conversation. No doctor ever said, “Hey, maybe what you’re eating is affecting your health.” It wasn’t until I started questioning everything that I realized just how much of what we’ve been told is outdated—or just plain wrong.
In this episode, I get into why doctors don’t talk about carnivore, the resistance to questioning mainstream nutrition, and my own health journey that led me here. Find what works for you—but I truly believe carnivore is a great start to getting healthy.
If you’re on carnivore, have you told your doctor? What was their response?

‘True wealth is created not by seeking the approval of others. True wealth is found when you make your own path.’ – Anthony Scaramucci.
This quote really hit me as I’m working on growing my podcast. It’s what I’m most passionate about, but balancing that with running my social media business and helping grow my husband’s lighting business is no easy task.
Ever feel like you’re just not sure where to focus? I’m definitely feeling that lately. But I’m trusting the process and doing my best to stay focused on what feels right for me.
Right now, I’m reading The Little Book of Bitcoin—and it’s these moments that remind me it’s all part of the journey to create my own path.
Anyone else out there juggling multiple passions? Let me know how you manage it all in the comments!

Let’s get lost today in our daydreams…
You’ll hear people say ‘Stop daydreaming and be productive,’ or ‘Get your head out of the clouds,’ like letting your mind wander is some kind of flaw. But what if it’s actually the key to creativity, clarity, and even motivation?
Getting lost in a daydream isn’t about zoning out—it’s about exploring ideas, envisioning possibilities, and letting your brain connect the dots in ways it can’t when you’re constantly forcing focus. Some of the best ideas, solutions, and even life changes come from those moments of mental wandering.
So let’s get lost for a minute.

Feeling good today—got some work done early. Am I done? NOPE!
I decided to take a little bit of time to relax today—that’s the best part about working from home. Having the flexibility to cook real food instead of grabbing something processed on the go? Even better.
Most people I know are rushing out the door in the morning, barely eating or settling for whatever’s quick. Meanwhile, I’m sitting down to eggs, bacon, and carnivore pancakes. Prioritizing health doesn’t have to be complicated, but it does take intention.
And even if you do have to go into an office, eating healthy doesn’t have to be hard—you just have to make it a priority.

GM Monday – Time Change = Time to adjust! We didn’t get to sleep until past 1am — I don’t know what happened but we just couldn’t fall asleep, so of course I’m paying for it now 😅 and I’ll need all the #cafecito
I know some people aren’t a fan of the time change—but I love it! Don’t get me wrong, the adjustment is rough, especially with kids. Waking up when it’s still dark outside? Yeah, that sucks. My brain just doesn’t get why I’m awake if the sun isn’t 😅.
But here’s what I do love—the longer days. Somehow, it just makes life easier. The kids rush to finish schoolwork so they can play outside, we get more time in the sun (hello, vitamin D), and summer feels so close. For us, that means pool and beach days… which I’ll just be dreaming about today.
#asknostr Do you love the time change, or would you rather it stay the same year-round?

#GM Cafecito Time ☕️✨
Sipping mine outside today because it’s chilly and breezy—and let’s be real, that won’t last long. Summer is probably a week away. lol.
Warning: I’m about to vent. 😅
Yesterday, I got another comment on one of my carnivore videos. This time from a vegan. And let me be clear—I have nothing against vegans. One of my good friends is plant-based. But I do have a problem when someone watches one of my posts and decides to tell me I’m doing it wrong—without knowing my story.
I’ve tried keto. I’ve done portion control. I even did a gut protocol program that focused on less meat and more veggies. Nothing worked. It wasn’t until I tried carnivore that my depression of eight years lifted. My anxiety decreased. I had more clarity, energy, and less inflammation.
No one has the right to judge someone else’s health decisions. I see hardcore carnivores making entire videos about how other people are “doing it wrong.” But here’s the thing—with me, my YouTube channel, and my socials, I share my journey. I give tips based on what I have learned and experienced.
I respect that people have opinions. Healthy conversations are great. But when someone tells me I should do the total opposite of what has healed me—just because it worked for them—that’s where I draw the line. And my response? You do you. No one is stopping you from eating how you want. I’m not on your page telling you that you’re slowly killing yourself with plants. (And believe me, some doctors have said that—look up Dr. Anthony Chaffee.)
What I am doing is sharing my experience. What worked for me. What others might want to consider trying. Every body is different—there’s no one-size-fits-all. I know most people pick a side and stay there, but I’ve always lived in the grey area. It took me two years of researching carnivore before I finally said, Why not? What’s the worst that could happen? That it doesn’t work, and I’m still depressed and sick all the time? Or—and listen carefully—OR… it actually allows my body to heal?
And that’s exactly what happened.
So comment what you want. Tell me I’m doing it wrong. Tell me I should be vegan. But here’s what you can’t take away from me: I found what works. I found what helped me escape years of depression, brain fog, and fatigue. I can finally breathe. I can finally be present with my family.
I get that it’s hard to accept something when the world has been lying to us for decades—profiting off seed oils, sugar, and processed junk. I get it. I grew up on TV dinners and Little Debbie’s. But once you open your mind to the possibility that what you thought was healthy could actually be harming you—everything changes.
And if you’re skeptical? Try it for yourself. See what happens. Because if this so-called “fad diet” is supposed to kill me… why is it doing the exact opposite?
