“Get off zero” is the reminder to stop having a 0% allocation to bitcoin in your investment portfolio.
There is another one that’s equally as important but not that many realize it:
“Get off 100%”
This means get off 100% dependency on third-party servers and apps. Understand the implications of having all of your digital life stored in someone else’s computer/server (i.e. Apple, Google, AWS). Self-host via a @Start9, use @GrapheneOS on an Android phone, use a Linux distro. It’s not that complicated, just takes time and dedication, just as understanding bitcoin.
I hear too often that bitcoin is already too expensive to buy. The same thing could have been said in 2018 when it was ~$7k. Back then, it was highly speculative, not well understood and without institutional adoption. Now, it’s an inflation hedge, in the hands of more people, institutions, ETFs and making its way to facilitate global commerce from one currency to the other.
The more understood it is, the more adoption it has, the further it’s price goes up while its volatility goes down. Don’t overthink this, it needs to be part of your investment portfolio. 💸

That was a great battle at the end between Veratappen and Norris, what a shame they gave Norris a 5sec penalty. I do think he was ahead at the apex.
