We love the feedback! 😆 Insider reveal - the actual inspiration for the #RibaResistance logo came from Double Dragon. We aimed to spark curiosity with our show logo and that does mean it might feel off-putting to some. To be clear, we aren't advocating isms, but felt that symbolism with liberation movements was fine. PodSystems is more cypherpunk than anything (we even considered a robotic fist at one point). As for the scholarly aspect, episode 2 (airing next week) dives into this topic. We also have some guest interviews that will address this. Islamic scholarship around Bitcoin has been one of the most challenging issues that @BitcoinMajlis has had to address. You’ve heard their voices in the teaser. Now it’s time to introduce our three hosts for Riba Resistance: @Muslim Bitcoiner is the co-founder of Bitcoin Majlis and author of book Anti-Riba Money. He's been a prominent educator in the Bitcoin space since 2020 and has been a champion of Bitcoin's compatibility with Islamic principles. @teepolitics is a Network State theorist. He has been a Bitcoiner since 2017 and has a storied background in finance and banking. @Kode is the founder of Grynvault. He got into Bitcoin in 2014 and his heavily involved in exploring how bitcoin and sound money principles can be applied to business finance. Riba Resistance is the first feature podcast production from #PodSystems and will begin releasing weekly episodes starting next week.
