Interestingly while I'm in the top 2% on Vertex I'm only ~66% on ProfileStr and Relatr So... #asknostr how does one improve their trust score on NOSTR? (other than the obvious of #pow ) I guess my brain is a little thrown that we even have such a thing on NOSTR. Not saying it's bad...just surprised to have discovered it!

Sometimes when I wake at 3am I’m able to go back to sleep after being up for a couple hours. Sort of like an “early morning nap”. I’m 99% sure that isn’t gonna happen today 🤦‍♂️ Issue 1 Opened coffee cabinet door and out flys the tea steeper…of course its metal; bounced off the counter three times, hit the fridge, crashed to the tile floor (who knew metal on tile was so damn loud!), then nestled its spinning ass between the fridge and counter. Gonna have to grab the grabber tool to retrieve when I feel like it. Issue 2 Sometimes when I’m up this early I’ll proactively take the dogs potty; you know, just in case I do fall back asleep…so I don’t have to wake up mid-sleep, again… So. Like a good husband and dog-daddy I usher the girls out of the bedroom, close the door so my wife can sleep. At this point its obvious bog dogs need to go potty so I’m committed to it now. I grab the flashlight and asp (we live near the woods so bears, raccoons, wild cats…) Well wouldn’t you know it?! Three friggin wild cats in our entry way… Well two protective Shih Tzus chasing 3 cats up and over the mulch pile, through the woods; to grandmother’s house we go 🤦‍♂️ Thankfully I didn’t have to chase them too far…once the threat of the cats were deemed non-existent we got on with our potty excursion and returned to the front lawn. If this is how the rest of the day is going to go, I’m clocking out and going back to sleep 🤪 Oh…Good Morning Nostriches!! #GM

Good Saturday Morning Nostriches. It always boggles my mind how a simple 2 hour timezone difference can mess with you so much. I guess I’m a creature of routine! (Its hard to maintain that structure across time zones visiting family) We are back home now and only major issue is after walking back in our door at 2am, by 4am i was awake unplugging, removing batteries, and placing all the smoke detectors under towels in the garage so we didn’t hear them chirp! Not sure what ghost in the machine crawled into those buggers while we were away but a simple battery change across them all didn’t stop the “low battery” alerts. So…hopefully no house fire today as, well…the alarms are chillin’ (quiet literally) in the garage 🥶 Apparently smoke detectors have a 10 year life span…these are pushing 22 years old 🤪 This morning I already worked on a bit of “what I want 2026 to look like”. One of those is getting back to writing. Somehow I let creating content and connecting with others slip in 2025. Well, off to tackle Saturday! #GM #PoW
