Early good morning Nostriches! I’m up a tad earlier on a Sunday as my son’s Basketball Tournament got moved from Saturday to Sunday. Still prioritizing God and getting time in with Him. Over the last few years life has hit us upside the head. Household health as a result of a botched surgery for my wife, all the mental, emotional, and physical struggles that brings. Aging extended family, finances…you name it. We are all ready for restoration! While at the beginning of all this I certainly experienced my own lack of peace as I lead everyone through the turmoil; but over the last about 9 months now I’ve had this “peace that passes all understanding”. Ironically it often made my wife more upset because she couldn’t understand how I could not be upset. Thankfully in December she too was able to tap into that peace that passes all understanding. During the last 9 months I knew the inexplicable peace was from our triune God, but I didn’t know the exact scripture reference. Well this morning it was in my readings. “And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭ So Nostriches, it is “…through prayer and petition with thanksgiving…” I continue to pray peace through Christ Jesus over my family, and for you too! @Jeff Booth I’m curious of your thoughts re: Monero in the respects that it is inflationary (approx 1% per year and trailing to zero from my limited investigation) Granted it is significantly less inflationary than fiat, as well as decentralized and secure akin to Bitcoin. But given the natural state of the free market (at least “tech”) is deflationary, should anything above 0% acceptable 🤷‍♂️ - Just a curious guy trying to learn and connect dots 😎

Good Saturday Morning Nostriches! I woke up happy… Then the alarm went off and it was cold outside and the dog wouldn’t listen…outside in the cold… The last week or so I’ve been meditating on Philippians chapter 4. I think historically we tend to blast through it and pull out 4:13 “I am able to do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” It’s almost become another John 3:16, a verse that even non-Christians are aware of, yet we have completely missed the meaning and power behind it. That’s how I feel about: “Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near.” ‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭5‬ ‭HCSB‬‬ Iv’e read that verse several times this week, but it wasn’t until today that is sunk in. How many times am I not gracious? Too many… Last night at my son’s basketball game, I wasn’t gracious with the refs. This morning with one of our dogs, outside in the cold… (Did I mention it was cold in Florida this morning) 🥶 …I didn’t extend grace to our fur-child. In hindsight, if I were Paul (the author of Philippians) I would have ammended Philippians 4:5 to read “extend grace to everyone and everyTHING (creature, creation of God).” But hey! That’s just me.
