Awhile back in the earlier days of defi, I wrote on a platform called Paragraph(dot)xyz (now com). What I liked about it was using ETH or my preference at the time, Polygon (POL), one could gate content and people could subscribe via their wallet and you could earn. Well…it was slightly ahead of it’s time and a bit clunky (as most innovations tend to be in their first few iterations. Fast forward to today, I intend to get back into writing and while NOSTR has Read/Articles I thought to myself “I wonder if Paragraph is using BTC now? So i went and checked… NOPE!!! They are on Base with an ERC-20 token called “Coins”. Basically they want you to enable the smart contract that will split revenue 50/50 LOL 🤣 That’s friggin worse the Substack and other competitors. No thanks! I’ll stick with truly decentralized, fully open source, and support for my writing contributed in sats; thank you very much. Here’s to fresh beginnings and NOSTR. #grownostr
In business, heck even in our life and impact, we can easily point to times when we’ve said and been told “trust the process”. This morning in my devotions I was digging deep on “faith” and “believing”, specifically that of the leper and Roman centurion from the first 13 versus of Matthew 8. I was hit upside the head that “trust the process” is not Biblical 😳 Nope… Solomon tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” So it’s not the process, or fellow man, or the stars, or anything other than the LORD! Why do we overcomplicate things all the time 🤷‍♂️ Pure and simple. Trust God. ✝️ Trust Him with the business He has entrusted to us. Trust Him with the life He has graciously blessed us with (yes…even if and especially so, when it’s a real storm). Trust Him with the relationships and thus impact we want to have. Trust. Him. https://bible.com/bible/72/pro.3.5-6.HCSB image
And I know there is a lot of anxiety in the world, heck even in my own home during this season. But I’d be remiss on this birthday of mine if I didn’t remind myself, my family, and my fellow Nostriches that God is in control! “No one can be a slave of two masters, since either he will hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot be slaves of God and of money. “This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? Can any of you add a single cubit to his height by worrying? And why do you worry about clothes? Learn how the wildflowers of the field grow: they don’t labor or spin thread. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these! If that’s how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won’t He do much more for you — you of little faith? So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat? ’ or ‘What will we drink? ’ or ‘What will we wear? ’ For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭24‬-‭34‬ ‭HCSB‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/72/mat.6.24-34.HCSB
“You are blessed when they insult and persecute you and falsely say every kind of evil against you because of Me. Be glad and rejoice, because your reward is great in heaven...” ‭‭ Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭11‬-‭12‬a HCSB‬‬
