I get what Jack is getting at but as many have pointed out. 2 & 4 are a luxury of the childless. I average 4-5 hours a night broken up in 3-4 stints.
One day we’ll get to a point where 2 & 4 are true but for most of my “productive” years I’ll be sacrificing those things for my children.
If you’re childless absolutely allow yourself these things, they’re a gift from God.
But for those of us with children or circumstances that make 2 & 4 impossible remember we have been blessed in different ways

Meat is great and all but have you realised there are hundreds of plants that are delicious and good for you?
Is there a way to filter out mastodon accounts from my Nostr feed unless if if specifically follow them? Kind of annoying seeing something, going to write a reply and then realising it won’t get to the other person

Just realised the irony of a lightning strike knocking out my lightning node

Lightning just knocked our electricity out. Lightning node rebooted by couldn’t connect to any of my channels on @Alby hub. Squeaky bum time for a minute but a restart sorted things out 😅
Whoever says that the British winter is “cosy” can get in the bin
The great thing about non alcoholic beer is that it can freeze and turn into a beer slush
My views on diet have changed a lot this year.
Start of the year I discovered Primal from Mark Sisson and fell in love with it.
Bit of a Keto/paleo mashup that is less restrictive.
Since then I’ve softened a bit on eating things like grains & legumes.
The key thing I think is moderation and prioritising the right things. Meat, vegetables & fruit should be the bulk of our calories but there’s also nothing wrong with having a wholly vegetarian meal with grains or legumes as well.
God gave us a world with a bounty of foods to enjoy
Anybody used venice.ai? They claim to offer private AI and you can pay in Bitcoin but wondering how true/provable the private bit is?

Dancing to the Hokey Cokey in the kitchen with the kids.
Seems appropriate for the BTC price
For my #libertarian experts:
Is there much literature on community and intentional communities?
There seems to be so much focus on the sovereign self that it misses out on the idea that we need community to thrive

As $100k approaches you may feel like you haven’t stacked enough. That you aren’t “good enough” as a bitcoiner.
In reality your life doesn’t need to revolve around the price of a currency.
Build your life on things that truly matter. Family, community, work that fulfills you. Bitcoin is a useful tool along the path.
Whether you’re Bitcoin rich or Fiat rich the problem is still the same. “Money is the root of all evil”
Oh good I didn’t miss getting to $100k
Oh man @primal is sick!!
Loving having the reads tab and feeds.
Now here’s a good question for the #plebchain
I post articles to my website
which is run on Hugo.
What would be an easy way to syndicate to nostr when I release a new post?
I guess I could write a script that checks my site for new posts and then publishes them on Nostr?
