If God dropped you in the middle of the ocean without ever teaching you to swim—would that support you? Of course not. So why are you throwing yourself into the deep end of goals you’re not equipped to handle yet? Set audacious goals, yes. But then reverse engineer the path. Build the puzzle pieces to hold uncertainty with stability. You wouldn’t send a level 1 into a boss fight at level 10. But if you’re a level 50 versus a 60? Now that’s a battle worth fighting. Take the steps. Stack the wins. Then leap.

The simplest way to reset your nervous system midday is as simple as lying on your back, doing absolutely nothing. Try it: flat on the floor/bed, hands open, palms up. Or place one hand on your belly, one on your heart, and just breathe. Massage your gut, release the tension, let your body fall into itself. Elevate your feet on a wall and let the lymph flow and cortisol drop. Do this before sunset, ideally afternoon, so your circadian rhythm stays intact. Nap-maxxing. Nervous system rebooting. The simplest fix you’re probably not doing. image
