I’d say foxes are one of my favorite animals now. Where I lived in Maryland there were a lot of red foxes. Once, I saw a red fox jump damn near 6 feet into a tree and come down with a squirrel. Other random fox story I have happened on a deployment to Zabul Province Afghanistan. We had just got back from a mission and I was alone doing maintenance on my truck. I felt like I was being watched and got a little paranoid. I turned around and there was a small desert fox about 10 feet away from me. I think it was begging for food but unsure. I glanced away for a moment and it was gone. That was surprising because there wasn’t really an egress route for it to be out of site so quickly. View quoted note →
