visited an art museum this past weekend and it always amazes me what humans can create. the technique, the dedication, the time it must have taken for these artists to express their ideas, thoughts, struggles, inspirations, & joys through their art. maybe not all of our creations will end up in a museum, but how beautiful it is to create, whatever it may be for you. ✨

thankful for housesits like this one in Spain. a small Spanish village in the mountains, a cozy home to live in, and sweet kitties to cuddle. 🤍

I remember sitting by Rio Chirripo in Costa Rica and having this moment. I imagined myself as just one water particle in the river, floating along in the river, following the flow until I reached the ocean. but then I asked myself, “What if I’m not separate from the whole? What if I am the river, not just a particle?”. this thought has stuck with me since then and I find it so profound. I and the world are not separate. you and me are not separate. we are one. 🦋 spending time in nature is so valuable, not only for our health, but for our souls. nature is the best teacher. go sit with her for a while and I promise you, she will teach you something new.

in just a little over a month, we will be spending 3 months in Africa and I’ve started spending time learning Amharic. guess which country speaks Amharic…🇪🇹
