surfing has always been something I’ve wanted to try, and being here in Costa Rica has been the perfect time to give it a go. the feeling of being out there in the water, feeling the pull and push of the tide, and the occasional water up the nose has made me feel so alive and connected to nature. a couple of days ago, I caught my first 3 footer and rode the face. I had goosebumps, happy tears, and an overwhelming sense of being in sync with nature. a feeling I will never forget. the few times I’ve surfed this trip, I’ve learned that you have to leave the ego behind, stay present in the moment, & just have fun. feeling super thankful. 🌀🤍✨

starting the day with mobility on the beach and an amazing surf sesh might be the best way to start the day that I’ve ever experienced… Pura Vida 🌺🏄‍♀️🌀

Spring of 2021: this was the last picture we took of us in our home. when I see this picture, I have a hard time believing this was “our life”. steady careers, a 4 bedroom home, suburban neighborhood, & a path that seemed “figured out”. but in the inner core of our beings, there was a stirring. a curiosity of, “What if there’s actually more to life than having a big home and careers?” we had to make a decision. to stay on the path of a settled life or listen to that inner voice guiding us to a path that was unknown. I’m really proud of the two people in this photo… for being brave and making decisions with conviction. take some time today to look back and appreciate where you came from. 🤍
