The truth isn’t liberating, it’s lethal. Powerful line in a book I’m reading right now. With its back against the ropes, the fiat system will start lashing out more aggressively. Courage will be needed for what’s ahead. I have a feeling Nostr will be critical as well.

GM. Grinding up some fresh @FunkCoffee beans that I bought with bitcoin. Legitimately some of the best coffee I’ve ever had. One of my biggest learnings from the past weekend in Vancouver was that dark roast is a shitcoin😂 image

I hear it all the time… “I missed the train” “I should have bought earlier” For young people today buying a full bitcoin at $100k+ is out of the question. But this framing couldn’t be further from the truth. Plamen has a great take on this. Full episode:

The financial system is intentionally overcomplicated to deceive us. In reality, it’s so simple a five-year-old could understand it.

Spending time with people I love in the mountains. It doesn’t get any better. Life is short. Make the most of it! image

Highlights from Learning Bitcoin Day 2: @Adam O’Brien gave a powerful talk about how fiat has undermined human values and why bitcoin gives us optimism for the future. Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim discussed how bitcoin is the ONLY way the city can avoid the problem of debasement. @npub1mnje...tg36 and @Classical Educator spoke about history, storytelling and OWNschooling. @npub1tm20...lpna fired up the crowd on why bitcoin allows us to pursue our dreams in this one precious life. And a lot more. It was a packed day and left me feeling grateful to be part of this revolution. Bitcoiners are the most optimistic, healthy and happy group I’ve ever met.

Learning Bitcoin 2025, Vancouver BC Day 1 I’ve been to a dozen or more bitcoin conferences and can say that this one is extremely unique. Interactivity, connection and signal are all extremely high. So many builders in Vancouver it’s been inspiring and eye opening. Seattle is starting to grow and with Vancouver as a model we can move even quicker. Shoutout to @npub1tm20...lpna @FunkCoffee @Learning Bitcoin Foundation @npub14kck...jm3r @Adam O’Brien @AdamHodl @npub1uaks...kqwh .. and so many more building on bitcoin.
