The difference between the US and the rest of the world can be summed up by the experience of going to a coffee shop. In the US, they expect a tip and they make you bus your own table. Almost everywhere else they don’t expect a tip and they bus the table for you. As much as I love my country, we have become soft and entitled.

HODL is the great meme in bitcoin’s history. Now the HODL mentality is preventing bitcoin from advancing to the next level of adoption. If you want number go up, spend your sats. Support businesses you appreciate with the best money. Spend and replace if needed.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned in business came when I was running an automotive detailing service during college. Not only is the client always right, but the client’s perspective on the quality of the work is more important than the actual quality of the work. The handshake and few minutes chatting during the pickup/drop-off mattered more than the hours of detailing in between. It’s a bit cynical I know, but as creators we often get attached to our work and we need to remember that if we want to remain in business and get a call back, we have to keep our ego out of it.

Fiat is archaic. -Minimum transaction costs -Transaction fees -Foreign currency exchange fees -3-5 business day settlement -frozen accounts Not to mention the contiual loss of purchasing power… I was just reminded of this because my breakfast order came up $1 short of the minimum for credit cards so I had to buy a water I didn’t need just to be able to use my card. Bitcoin is going to win, it will just take some time.

I know I’m deep in editing mode when my own video triggers emotion. Got something pretty cool coming out soon that I haven’t talked about but I think is a very unique story for the bitcoin community. Specifically for business owners to broaden their understanding of how bitcoin can transform their business beyond NGU/treasury asset or simply accepting bitcoin as payment. The rabbit hole never ends. We are still learning what the heck bitcoin is…
