More people have asked me how much bitcoin I have today at Fincon than all the bitcoin conferences I’ve been to combined. Funny that that’s the first question people have.

It’s tempting to start to automate and use Ai to post more on social media…
Maybe I will one day but to date everything I’ve ever posted has been done manually, by me.
There are no perfect solutions only trade-offs and the minute you start to use AI is the minute you sacrifice your authenticity.
If you think Bitcoin jargon was hard to pick up at first, try watching a12 year trader and finance guy do TA and riff on a livestream…
The amount of knowledge and experience required to swim in the shark invested finance world is on another level.
Running a livestream at Fincon was fun today, learned a lot… but also reminded myself why I love bitcoin. I don’t have to learn to trade or compete with the most sophisticated investors in the world.

3 flights today with zero margin for error. Fincon day 1 tomorrow.
First non bitcoin conference I’ve been to. Palm Springs is gorgeous. GN.

Filming in Comuna 13
Colombian homie John sent me these!

Made some new friends in Colombia. What a place. Great people.
Ripe for bitcoin adoption as well.

“Hey I’m a bitcoiner but I never want to sell or spend my bitcoin…”
Make it make sense 🤣
The HODLers are on the sideline, playing defense at best…
The builders are in the game, using bitcoin, going on offense.
Just paid for my hotel in Medellin with bitcoin. Not only is there a discount but also early check in. Smart move by the owner.
If you’re in Medellin it’s a great location with the number 1 coffee shop in Colombia on the lower floor.
Nice view too

That’s a wrap in Medellin! Yesterday was my last day filming for the @My First Bitcoin Bigger Than Bitcoin documentary series.
Kenya, Czech Republic, Indonesia and Colombia. This year we visited four countries on four different continents to show how decentralized bitcoin education is actually impacting humans.
What started in a hut with two students in El Salvador is now the largest bitcoin education organization in the world in over 40 countries with thousands of students graduating the bitcoin diploma.
We need independent bitcoin education now more than ever. The road ahead is bumpy and the more people who understand bitcoin and plug it into their lives the better chance we have a free in humanity from fiat money slavery.
If you believe in this mission join me in supporting MFB and participate in the bitcoin revolution!

I smoked a big tobacco cigarette last night and it’s wild how bad my throat feels this morning. I haven’t smoked a cigarette in probably 10 years, since college.
Comuna 13- Medellín, Colombia
Absolutely one of the most unique places I’ve ever been.
The history is dark but the future is bright.
It’s pretty special to be here while bitcoin adoption is just getting started.
A year ago there was no bitcoin adoption, today there are 30 merchants and growing.
@My First Bitcoin

My talk from Bitcoin Asia Hong Kong:
I was nervous and the PechaKucha format with the slides changing every 30 seconds was new to me, but it was a gift to share some of what I think is the most important message for bitcoiners today.
Nostr will understand this talk more than X 👌
9/10/2001
Never forget… the $2.3T reported missing by Donald Rumsfeld- which was accounted for in the DOD budget analyst section of the Pentagon and in WTC7, the building that fell at 5pm on 9/11 without being hit by a plane.
47 story building became a 3-4 story pile of rubble in under 7 seconds. The building fell at free fall speed.
When I realized 9/11 was an inside job it completely changed my life. It was the “red pill” moment when I started questioning everything and became a critical thinker.
I speak with a lot of bitcoiners who get to a point with bitcoin education when the question becomes, “what next?”
To answer this question one must evolve from a pleb to a pioneer.
Nobody gives the pioneer directions. The pioneer walks the path least traveled, without asking for permission.
Medellin day 1.
My checked bag got stuck in Miami, so bought some underwear and shorts at the mall.
Haven’t slept well since last week in Hong Kong, but tomorrow filming begins. Go time.
