Probably an unpopular opinion, but if I was designing a Nostr client that I intended to be commercially viable, I'd probably use a caching relay. Primal takes a lot of shit for this, but it seems to make things run a little smoother, plus if I wanted to rely on ads or boosted posts for funding, that would be key to it.

Devils / Hurricanes - I didn't think New Jersey would win, but I also didn't think half the team would get injured...

I'm still working may way through Yoshi's Island. I forgot how much I love the boss fights in this game. You get shrunk and swallowed by a frog. You fight in its stomach before it poops you out and dies, and then you're left with a WTF expression. Cracks me up. #retrogaming #gamestr image

I don't hate the Buzzbot, I just haven't figured out how to use it for evil yet. image

I'm sorry Sam, but things only go one way from here. I'd recommend using your manners... image

From Twitter, I've learned that to European and Asian tastes, America's disgusting food is root beer, which I find shocking. Is this true? It seems that the primary complaint is that root beer has a medicinal taste, so I'm curious, are other "medicinal" tasting sodas disgusting as well (Moxie is a Maine thing, I doubt that will get much traction, but even Mainers find it gross)? #asknostr image

I mean they still have my by the balls on this - most games are mid at best these days, Nintendo consistently puts out a good product - but my God $100 for a set of joycons is insane. These prices are insane. image

Everyone on Nostr is talking about circumcision, and yet no one is using "foreskinstr" as a hashtag. Disappointing...

I thought today is the day that the ATF and FBI tweet out some insane and infuriating shit about Waco, and then everyone tells them to fuck off. Is that not happening this year or am I misremembering things? Traditions are important.

I do wonder if a sort of horseshoe theory exists in Bitcoin. A lot of bitcoiners are hostile to other chains, I'm really not, more indifferent, do your own thing, I don't care. It occurred to me that if I follow that to it's conclusion I end up where Saylor is. A weird thought...

Also, this is common knowledge, but it is impossible to overstate how useless a golden retriever is as a guard dog. Their primary purposes are to go get stuff and not kill your kids (unmatched patience and restraint). They will, however, happily help any thief steal your shit.

"I'm going to Orange Pill that meth head roaming the neighborhood" and other absolutely insane thoughts at 12:30am because you can't sleep, because your wife made you sleep on the couch downstairs with a shotgun.

Nostr is such a welcoming community. I feel like I can share stuff here that I can't even tell my own family. So it's time to be honest with everyone, because being honest is important... I drink decaf ...thank you for your support.

I need to get in on the next cool thing before it becomes lame. Being an author used to be cool, now anyone can publish on Amazon. Having a website or blog used to be cool, now people have multiple. Podcasting was cool, now anyone can have a podcast. It's all lame because anyone can do it easily and cheaply.
