When I was younger, I would visit my uncle and auntie. They were the cool auntie and uncle. There was no TV screen - only ever cool music. The sounds coming out of their stereo used to intrigue me to no end; sounds like the drifting ambience and steady pulse of Boards of Canada, the psychadelica of Lee Scratch Perry and King Tubby, the upbeat old-school Stax and Motown sound of Otis Redding, Al Green and Etta James; even the weird and warped frequency of Bjork and Squarepusher. Their stereo was the seed - and highly likely the reason why I dig listening to The Kalimera Show by @inpc - which he hosts himself, like a pirate, which only makes it cooler... πŸ΄β€β˜ οΈ 🎧 🀘 πŸ‘‡
