GM from the farm ⛅️ LINUX Unplugged day. Heading to the studio, we’re live in about 3 hours. Up first: we are talking about this two week long Arch Linux DDoS. image

I have contacted MARA Press to determine if they are aware of a potentially disturbing story that appears to be unfolding. A MARA staffer has been launching DDoS attacks against Knots nodes. Forcing them to re-download the chain, over and over. image I'll have (if any) their response in This Week in Bitcoin.

And so it begins! Starting the very early work to get a septic system installed. Job one is just clearing the area for the inspector. I’ve never done anything like this so this should be quite the journey . image

Hey Nostr - What's your take on this: I have been toying with the idea of creating an npub for This Week in Bitcoin. And then posting show releases and news there, but also maybe making it easier to tag for feedback/show ideas? Or is it simpler just to keep it to my personal account, IE, only one account to follow?

Bitcoiners may feel rugged, but zoom out: the U.S. sees stablecoins as a route to dollar dominance, making everything else in crypto secondary. Bitcoin doesn't need them; the stablecoin industrial complex does. Bitcoin doesn't need anything from these people. But the stablecoin industrial complex (every major bank wants in) needs them badly. So, incentives were always going to align. I don't think this means the Bitcoin Reserve idea is dead, but it does mean it's taking a back seat to what they think is the "bigger picture." image
