The American colonies revolted against the strongest military power of their time over a minor tax on tea on principle of “no taxation without representation.” At what point does the average American feel so choked out by all the taxation/ inflation that they revolt and over throw the current government? At what point does democracy stop working?

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!”
Isaiah 5:20-21 ESV
I used to be a missionary overseas after college (not Mormon). Went into it after the realization that our world doesn't need more of me, but needs more of Jesus. Stopped due to funding difficulties. Been working with individuals with disabilities for the last 4 years. Feeling the nudge to get back in. The world needs Jesus, not me.... Lifestyle is comfortable, no debt except mortgage. Feels like a big risk.
I just bench pressed my wife's weight today. Good feeling.
