Germany comfortably taking dirtiest energy in Northern Europe accolades this morning. Again. Not sure there is a better example of post-truth narrative bullshit than the Teutonic green energy miracle. Been at it for over a generation now. And if we accept this is flagrant nonsense, it holds other perceived eco-wisdoms are too. Picking climate and emissions was a clever move as people’s memories are short. But they’re not that short. An increasing cohort of humanity now has start-to-finish evidence that “repent ye sinners!” measures imposed to save us just make things demonstrably worse. This is just example 1 of n, of course.

It was hard work clearing a foot and a half of climate change off the cars this morning but the kids had fun with it. Not often they get two snow days in a row!

It’s more efficient to mash the various permacrises together. Though this sort of concatenation works better in its original German.
