Internet outages in Africa due to “damaged cables”. Lots of choke-points globally for data traffic; this stuff is a lot less chunky than a Nordstream pipe. Watched the Taylor Sheridan interview on the Joe Rogan podcast recently, lots of discussion on the absolutely outstanding “1883”. There’s been a lot of “where’s retail?” talk recently. Well, two things today scared me a little. Both marked prior tops. 1. Got dragged into a WhatsApp group chat as “the crypto guy” to advise on what degenerate meme coin to buy next. People I’ve not spoken to in over a year. 2. CFO pings me on Slack to discuss his personal crypto strategy (bought in last time we were over 60k). Hmm. How’s your day going?
