...dude. I'm about to move three laptops and a desktop from Ubuntu to #NixOS with a single set of configuration files (in a shared git repo). If I want to make a household-wide change to permissions or settings? Update a single file. If one of them needs a particular software package that the others don't? I update their own {username}.nix. This...is bananas. Say what you want about the wokies that run it, but NixOS is friggin' awesome.
