If youβve ever lost your follow, mute, relay, or other list to a misbehaving client (I have, many times!), you know what a pain it is to recover. But what if you already had a backup, and just needed an easy way to restore it?
Lazarus is an open spec for Nostr data recovery. It unearths old versions of your signed lists and profile data from any relays that still hold them, and restores them with your own keys.
Itβs already implemented in @Sidecar πΈ, Jank, Mutable, @Plebs vs. Zombies π§ββοΈπͺ, and @Zap Cooking (both web and Android), so you can try it for yourself right now.
Developers can implement it in any client theyβre building. Nobody likes losing lists theyβve spent time curating. Now you can help keep them safe for your users. π
