So I see primary goal of AI and neural interfaces hype in moving trust and agency from people to one-sided controlled machinery and some cloud of megalomania, anti-systemic schizophrenia and psychopathy demons. This is at expense of rapid population decline and environmental degradation ofc. It does not really matter which form it takes, even via "tight integration of human in the loop". Though ML technology itself is useful for coding tasks if it's used in a smart way. But saying so is not enough.
