Hipster, Iconoclast, ฿atman. "People are strange: they are constantly angered by trivial things, but on a major matter like totally wasting their lives [by not buying bitcoin], they hardly seem to notice." - Charles Bukowski
BlackNet (sometimes styled BlackNet).Timothy C. May (Tim May) created BlackNet around 1993 as a proof-of-concept / thought experiment for a fully anonymous information market. It used PGP encryption, chained anonymous remailers, and public message pools (like Usenet) so that buyers and sellers of information could interact without revealing their identities. This was a concrete illustration of the broader “crypto-anarchy” vision he outlined earlier in The Crypto-Anarchist Manifesto (1988), which predicted that strong cryptography + anonymous networks + digital cash would enable untraceable markets (including “black markets” and information markets) that governments could not easily control. BlackNet is widely regarded as an early conceptual precursor to later darknet markets. May later described it in essays such as “Untraceable Digital Cash, Information Markets, and BlackNet,” and it is frequently referenced in discussions of cypherpunk ideas that influenced both cryptocurrency and anonymous online marketplaces. #cypherpunk

At one time I was following 2000 people on nostr. I'm going to vibe code a script that goes through all of the relays and finds everyone that I follow on each relay.
The European economic zone (now called the EU) only exists to hold Germany back from being exceptional. AfD Leader Alice Weidel just said adopting the Euro was a big mistake for Germany: "Germany was significantly better off before the introduction of the euro. We are seeing a broad impoverishment of large parts of the working population. And what else do we have on top of that? Job losses. More than half a million jobs were lost within the first quarter of this year."

NVK Magic the gathering card. I have many hardware wallets but luckily I never acquired a cold card. I actually worked the booth at the Bitcoin conference, where I sold someone a cold card and I told them that it was the most secure wallet 😞. I hope that that persons funds are ok. image
You have to wonder why so many non-technical Bitcoin podcasters and media-friendly unit-shifters are against bip 110? If you really went down this rabbit hole, would you find that the money leads to the Big banksters. Frances Farmer will have her revenge on Seattle. View quoted note →

From @npub1clfj...k28k "I want to share a little about the Salvadoran mission to Venezuela; the part you don’t see. The mission is handled by the President of El Salvador. Meaning it is literally handled directly by him. Every thread of the operation reports to @nayibbukele. Rescue workers update the President by the minute and make decisions together: where to go, how to approach a location, how thin to spread the teams, how long to stay. The rescuers put their lives on the line to pull people out of the rubble. They squeeze into fragile buildings and dig with their hands where heavy equipment would collapse the structure. They have the President in their ear along the way. He monitors every person they rescue from the first point of contact until they reach the hospital, where he oversees their medical treatment plans. He decides whether to call off a search or keep it going. It’s an impossible decision, which is why he makes it. This is how El Salvador has managed every emergency of the last 7 years. It’s the first time Bukele applies his methods at this scale to help another country. I’m writing this because after the fact, people often post about how you merely need to “flip a switch to fix everything.” The truth looks a lot more like this. Missions from around the world have now deployed their teams. All of them are doing God’s work. May they be protected and save many more lives today."
