Here's my stand from last weekend! It was quite successful, but the two full days of sitting+standing still made my back hurt so bad I haven't been able to work (I'm a masseuse), so I've lost way more earnings this way than I got with the stand. Final steps are polishing off any rough soldering remains that could snag on the skin or clothing and attaching the chain. Sometimes I add a black patina. And that's it! It's quite a lengthy process. I'm currently working on a new display setup, using nice books.

Step no.4! Making shapes out of a thicker wire and soldering them on to make the stones into pendants. This is the most creative part of the process, though it is not my favourite part, as that is hunting for nice minerals to turn into jewelry. 🤭 I have waaay to many stones at home... In this step you have to be really careful not to overheat everything with the soldering gun, that's why I make several pendants at once and switch in between. If the solder overheats, the shapes just fall off as everything gets liquid! #artstr #jewelry #handmade #soldering #nostrartstr
