I’m so exited that the #homesteading community is showing some love. We posted about doing our first #foodforrest tour and we’ve almost sold out of tickets for the first weekend. And 3 months later I was finally able to get the framing finished. So far the only cost has been some lag bolts of $25. I’ll have to buy some metal for the roofing material but I’d say we saved several thousand dollars by cutting these cedar trees down ourselves and getting them milled. #Foodforest is exploding this year. The growth is phenomenal with all the rain and compost teas. Here’s a little Apple tree #guild with comfrey, locust, strawberry, sweet potato, cosmos, vetch, elderberry. So many benefits in such a small space. #grownostr #permies #diversity
