Reachable Bitcoin Nodes

BTC Nodes estimates the size of the Bitcoin peer-to-peer network by finding all of its reachable and unreachable nodes.

So I was today years old when I learned that SimpleX fell out of fashion on Nostr because they tried to do a shitcoin. That's a damn fucking shame. But I never did get an answer to my OP here, which was asking what we all use instead. Nostr DMs are still as unreliable as ever. Hopefully @White Noise takes off, it's had a security audit, it's decentralised through Nostr, it's end to end encrypted of course, and it'll never do a shitcoin. I'm on White Noise already but it doesn't support NIP-46 yet so had to make a new nsec for it. Would be great if I could just sign in with Amber and chat to my Nostr homies. View quoted note →

WHY did I run my node off a box with a SATA SSD? This would have been done three days ago if I had a fucking NVMe in my NUC 😭 Literally taking longer than it took to sync the blockchain just for Fulcrum to index it 😩

What are we actually using for messaging these days? I don't see anyone talk about SimpleX anymore. Have we moved onto something Nostr based like @White Noise?

Extremely tempted to get the Pixel 10 Pro Fold and stick GrapheneOS on it. Last foldable I had was the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 like five years ago. Really miss having a foldable. There's a sale on the Pixel right now too... And hey I'm writing a GrapheneOS guide so I need to buy the absolute best Pixel you can get in order to document the install experience right guys? I basically have no choice 😂

If you have DM'd me and I haven't replied, it's not personal. Two reasons: I stepped away from Nostr for ~2 years for personal reasons. I had a lot going on in my life to deal with. And now I'm back, Amethyst won't let me respond to any DMs (says everyone has no DM relays) and while I can start new DM conversations on Wisp, I cannot see any previous conversations on here (guessing because it only supports the GiftWrap DMs?) Not ignoring anyone personally.
