Man people are getting hostile over BIP-110. Is there some context I'm missing or is it just a case of people revelling in drama? Guy had an idea he thought would improve Bitcoin. Not enough people agreed. It failed. Why we fighting each other? We have different visions for how Bitcoin should be developed but we're all on the same team at the end of the day. I don't get the hate. The system worked as intended. Why's it gotta be toxic? Seems to me bro had good intentions and wanted to improve Bitcoin because he believes in it as we all do. Also: use a strong BIP39 passphrase. Obviously still able to be bruteforced, but at the very least acts as a buffer to buy you time in exactly this type of situation. And an opportunistic attacker wouldn't have reason to keep trying to brute force it once they're in the main wallet to begin with. There's so much added to Amethyst since the last time I looked around it, PoW for events and BOLT12 support are great, but I was not expecting an integrated git client! Props to @Vitor Pamplona and the many contributors to the project, this legitimately is an "everything app."
