Anyone use Strike for their KYC stack? Seems to be a legit Bitcoin company rather than a "crypto exchange." Even has Lightning.

If you installed WWG v0.1.8 using Docker Compose, please upgrade to v0.1.9 because it fixes a permissions bug that can break database writing on some configs which stops the notifications from working.
v0.1.9 also switches the build system to uv, massively improves the Docker packaging, cleans up the code, and added some CI/CD pipelines to the repo to help make sure the app is less shitty in the future.
This has gone way beyond a vibe coded app now.

I am actually amazed the domain nostrcloud.com was available
Anyone else notice that notes (not just DMs, but normal public notes like this one) posted from Dark Wisp don't always show up in Amethyst or is that just me and the relays I use?
Thinking I need a blastr for when I post from mobile in general.
Woah built in Spark wallet in Wisp, that's cool considering there's not many non-custodial wallets with NWC support ๐
Probably dumb question though: when you restore a Spark wallet from the seed phrase, does that also restore your Lightning balance? Without having to do a separate backup for all the Lightning stuff?

De-Googled GrapheneOS is working fucking great so far on my Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Guide on installing and configuration aimed specifically at bitcoiners coming soon!

Flow (open source YouTube app for Android) is really really fucking cool holy shit. You subscribe to channels you like (locally, no login) and based on what you watch It builds an algorithm for you locally on the device without Google profiling you. That's absolutely insane.
Also has SponsorBlock integration, DeArrow (replaces clickbait titles with descriptive ones), Return YouTube Dislike, no ads of course, all the YouTube Premium features, casting, shorts, etc etc...
UX is really really good too.
Installed GrapheneOS in 12 minutes.
It really is very easy. Great work @GrapheneOS team.
Well this became relevant again ๐๐๐

I want to thank @Ryu Santiago for helping me test my DM relay, Xannyblastr. It actually works!
I've been neglecting it recently since I was focusing on developing WWG so hard. Gonna give it a bit of attention today.

So. When this arrives tomorrow I will obviously be installing GrapheneOS.
I will document the process and write a comprehensive "cypherpunk smartphone guide", not just installing Graphene but what to do afterwards: how to set it up as the ultimate pleb phone.
I'll go over alternate app stores, Bitcoin wallets, Nostr (including Amber), reliable notifications without using Google services, VPNs, Tor, and other general OPSEC.
If you have any suggestions for topics to cover please let me know and I will include them.

This is why I always keep some sats in a mobile hot wallet and if a local business accepts Bitcoin I will pay in Bitcoin.
BTC Maps is great for this.
No one will ever accept Bitcoin payments if no one uses them!

Did some serious work on WWG, the Ntfy + Electrum project that effectively acts as a bot that lets you talk to your node and get alerted about transactions on your wallets, all fully self-hosted - I'm running everything from my own physical machines.
Think it'll be ready for a proper stable release soon. Check it.

I'm a little biased but I think this is really fucking cool.
It lets you use Ntfy to talk to your node from your phone anywhere in the world. No third parties or port forwarding required.
At the moment it checks the balances and UTXOs of your various wallets and gives you fresh addresses. I already have ideas for a lot more cool shit it can do.
It's like a Telegram bot but fully self-hosted. No middleman with your phone number. Even works with SOCKS proxies for Tor support.
Connects through Fulcrum, of course. Never touches RPC.
Optionally it can connect to a self-hosted Mempool instance for even more blockchain info.
This has insane levels of potential. Here we have just the first version. It lets you get fresh addresses, look through previous used and unused ones, list UTXOs, etc from any of your wallets (hot and cold, SegWit or Taproot).
All of this and more while your xpubs stay encrypted on your machine. This is an intentional design choice that works opposite to Trezor Suite, for instance.
I'm gonna add a lot more to this because it fills a genuine gap in my own setup.

**Bitcoin Wallet Watchguard**
Say hello to a local encrypted watch only Bitcoin wallet you can talk to anywhere in the world.
Check all of your wallets with sovereignty and privacy from your phone. Your xpub is only ever stored locally. 100% self-hostable if you have a Bitcoin node.

Bitcoin related, of course.
