And my first syrup is done. 1st gather/boil, I pulled a couple gallon last night. Left is new, right is what I got most of last year. I'll only get 3-5 gal. of really light syrup. So I was talking a bit with @RevHodl and was talking how I keep up with tapping 600 trees, especially when my teenage sons are in sports now. Very labor intensive. I learned from an old timer that made syrup into his late 80's, you don't always have to boil hard. I boil hard when I am home and watching. I smolder and steam when I am sleeping or at work. Here is 4:45 this morning when I got up. The sap level went down a couple inches in pan, and tank level went down 1/3. All told about 50 gallons water boiled off while I slept. I can shut evaporator down pretty tight and am showing the coals I'm left with in morning. Looking for information. I had Wallet of Satoshi for zaps on Amethyst. Now that it's out of US what can I use? I don't have my own lightning node yet. ( 1 yr plan) I have muun strike and breeze but their lightning addresses time out. I tried Alby but they are invitation only right now so I put in a request. Just something simple that will get me through till summer. @Nunya Bidness any ideas?

Long couple weeks. Son was sick with stomach flu that then went to mono. Lots of laying around and getting him to eat more. Finished big piece of home butchered sausage as he then attacked the waffle ice cream sandwich with homemade maple syrup. He got his calories this morning.
