Just went out this morning. We will keep a fresh pitcher of maple sap in the fridge for the next month to drink, and I also make coffee with the sap. It's delicious. I always have good trees, giving 2-2.5% sugar.

Got out this weekend and with help from teenage boys and a couple of their friends, we got all 700 taps in trees. Got home from work today, will be collecting tomorrow. My 2 ways to collect, sap buckets and sap bags on homemade pvc holder.

Putting this out there to try and get some help. I have amethyst and primal, and some messages come through on one and not the other and vice versa. I went through and updated so both of them had the same relays because I thought that could be a problem. It did not solve anything. Not great news for people wanting maple syrup, but good news for me. Sap run weather is freeze at night, 35-40 sunny in day. Once I tap, the tree will slow in 5 weeks and heal and stop at 6. This gives me time to plan. If a season lasts 7 weeks, I want tapped during the best 4. If I tapped 10 days ago for a small 1 day run, I would've lost 2.5 weeks of an open tap until next warmup, losing part of my season.

I also set up a @Plebeian Market.market to compare that with @Shopstr Markets and see which is more user friendly. Search "Mapletrade" in either of them.

Has anyone tried Shopstr? I made a listing for my sister Sarah's tallow soap there, but am not sure the ease of use yet. Was thinking of having maple syrup there this year.

Putting this out here now, since I heard @Nunya Bidness bring it up on the BitcoinAnd.... podcast. Prices of everything are going up. The last 3 years inflation has been crazy. My costs have gone up and my prices are going up EXCEPT for the #Nostr community. I haven't raised my prices in 3 years. I will be raising prices on X, and my local markets, but not for Nostr.
