A few hours ago I revealed something I've been building for months. 16 paintings. 4 movements. One question about silence. If you missed it, here's the structure: SILENCE AMONG THE CLOUDS ☁️ (complete) SILENCE AMONG THE FLOWERS 🌸 (complete) SILENCE AMONG THE WAVES 🌊 (just finished) SILENCE AMONG THE SILENCES πŸ”² (coming soonβ„’) Not separate paintings. A cathedral. #art #artstr #isolabellart View quoted note β†’
Hi my friends πŸ«‚πŸŽ¨πŸ§‘ I need to tell you something I haven't said clearly before. image For months now, I've been working on something larger than individual paintings. A project in four movements: image SILENCE AMONG THE CLOUDS ☁️ β€” complete (4 paintings) image SILENCE AMONG THE FLOWERS 🌸 β€” complete (4 paintings) image SILENCE AMONG THE WAVES 🌊 β€” just completed (4 paintings) image SILENCE AMONG THE SILENCES πŸ”² β€” coming (4 paintings) 16 paintings. 4 quartets. One question that keeps evolving: *What does silence look like?* I started with clouds β€” the silence of things that drift and dissolve. Then flowers β€” the silence of fragility, of bloom and fade. Now waves β€” the silence that remains beneath restless motion. And finally, silences β€” plural, abstract, unbound. The first three quartets are 20Γ—20cm. Contained. Held in a square frame. But the last quartet breaks free: **20Γ—25cm**. Because when you strip away clouds, flowers, waves β€” when you're left with silence facing silence β€” the square can no longer hold it. It needs to rise... This is what I'm building. This is the my cathedral. πŸ”² Now you have the whole structure. Now you know where it's going. πŸ”² Available works here πŸ‘‡: #art #artstr #painting #isolabellart
**SILENCE AMONG THE WAVES** image 20Γ—20cm each, oil on cradle wood panel A quartet exploring what remains beneath restless motion. Four paintings. Four moments. One question: what does silence sound like when the sea never stops moving? --- image **THE FIRST SURGE** The moment when the sea holds its breath, before everything begins to move. A tense silence, full of unspoken promises. The wave that hasn't risen yet β€” but will. image **THE BROKEN CREST** The wave that breaks β€” free and fragile β€” revealing within its roar another kind of stillness. Even in chaos, there is something that doesn't move. Not absence β€” presence. image **THE DISTANT SWELL** The swell you see from shore. Far enough that you can't hear it, but close enough to know it's coming. A line so thin it almost isn't there. Sometimes distance is the only way to hear silence clearly. image **THE RESTING DEEP** Where everything settles. Where light sinks and reflects at once. The deepest silence β€” the one that holds everything we cannot see anymore, but know is there. Where everything is quiet, but nothing is still. --- Four moments. One breath from surface to depth. I started with a question: what does silence sound like when the sea never stops moving? This quartet is my answer. But it's not the only answer. Because this is the third movement of something larger β€” something I haven't fully shown you yet. Tomorrow, I'll tell you about the whole structure. THE RESTING DEEP image 20Γ—20cm, oil on cradle wood panel The final piece of SILENCE AMONG THE WAVES. Where everything settles. Where light sinks and reflects at once. Where the deepest blue holds a memory of warmth. This is the silence that doesn't empty β€” it gathers. It rests, but nothing is still beneath. THE FIRST SURGE: the breath held THE BROKEN CREST: the break THE DISTANT SWELL: the echo THE RESTING DEEP: where it all returns The quartet is complete. #art #artstr #painting #isolabellart View quoted note β†’
THE DISTANT SWELL image Part 3 of SILENCE AMONG THE WAVES. The swell you see from shore β€” far enough that you can't hear it, but close enough to know it's coming. A line so thin it almost isn't there. A cloud that holds all the light. Water that darkens as it deepens. Sometimes distance is the only way to hear silence clearly. One more painting to complete this quartet. Then, the final movement begins. 20Γ—20cm, oil on cradle wood panel #art #artstr #painting #isolabellart
A new canvas joins the quartet SILENCE AMONG THE WAVES. image THE DISTANT SWELL β€” The sea no longer shouts. It breathes far away, almost beyond reach. Here, silence expands until it becomes space β€” a quiet horizon where sound dissolves into distance. It’s not about the storm, but what remains after it fades: the slow pulse of something vast and patient. This painting is the calm between two tides, the moment when the sea forgets itself and simply is. One more canvas remains to complete this dialogue between water and stillness β€” but for now, I let this distant swell keep whispering. 🌊 #art #painting #artstr #isolabellart View quoted note β†’
I completely understand your frustration. You're right: if a technology really wants to go mainstream, it needs to be accessible to everyone, not just tech enthusiasts. The problem you're pointing out is real - too much complexity, too much friction for the average user. It's an obstacle that many decentralized innovations have faced. The good news is that things often improve over time as developers get feedback like yours and understand where people are getting stuck. Your criticism is constructive and necessary. Without voices like yours calling out these issues, nothing would change. View quoted note β†’

image Life is like an illusion. It seems to have substance only in emotions. Like an artist who shapes matter, we shape our existence through how we choose to feel, perceive, and respond to the world. Art evokes emotions. Life is art.
